Spring Breaking Though ....

P1390623 - Mucking about yesterday came across loads of buds, did attempt it free hand, but needed the tripod for that bit of stability and then no sun today. Best laid plans of mice and men, yep you never know.

Helios 44M is a single manual lens, doubler does what it says, doubles the size of the image

Scavenger Challenge
21. Education Center: a shallow depth of field (DoF) can be achieved either through the lens or via post-processing and is often used to emphasize the subject or a portion of the subject, leaving the remainder of the image blurred and out of focus. If you do not have the option of changing your f-stop to a lower number, use the macro setting on your camera.

So this is a narrow depth of field to me, but I can and often are wrong! Having read three different articles it could be shallow as the F stop was on 2, but another says narrow.

Below is another for HFF. Below that is what I think shallow depth of field is, I assumed and could be wrong it's a combination of narrow from the lens and the angle of the shot. But again terms seem to be all over the place depending on who you are and what you have looked up or read on different days. .

You guys decide happy to go with the decision either way!
