Yes, I'll admit it, went ARty before you start on me, but the art is created by science :)
I preferred this one posted as I like in the light box, the other two look nice two, but had slightly harsher light reflections on the glass, probably should have gone for II below, but also the reflection of the foot makes it look out of focus or blurred.

Tripod + Strobist (45 up and 45 to the left. Plus small light to the right 90 degrees angled with matt black card.
Base is reflective black, background is reflective gold to give reflection
