Some papers are reporting that the stings is fatal whilst other including National Geographic state "For humans, a man-of-war sting is excruciatingly painful, but rarely deadly".

At last the Isle of Wight Council gets on board the balloon race
But have they really?
The Island cannot boost any Blue Flags for its beaches this year and we only managed to get four beaches past the Seaside Awards inspection. Blue Flag submissions apparently dropped due to budget restrictions.
