Killer smaller than a Honey Bee's knee

LR-11340 - Like the next man or woman I snigger and even laugh out loud and some of the Health & Safety publications or requests. Yet this one is something you should not, just one spore can cause Asbestosis. Not that I have seen or met anyone with the disease, my uncle died of Black lung form the coal mines, which apparently is very similar and I would not wish that on anyone.

To show how small the spore/fibre is the shot includes a web with droplets, Asbestos fibers are invisible to the unaided human eye because their size is about 3–20 µm wide and can be as slim as 0.01 µm. Human hair ranges in size from 17 to 181 µm in breadth. That's roughly the thickness of a Blood Cell to the thickness of paper or the diameter of a Honey Bee's knee.

UK asbestos or
Chrysotile has been used more than any other type and accounts for about 95% of the asbestos found in buildings in AmericaWiki
