Why Hallow light, there is a whole bunch of stuff about Halloween out on the web along with the various regional differences. It would appear in the main that the Jacko-Lanterns originated from Britain, there was is some confusion over the whole lost soul thing (can't quite work out why you would stack some bodies outside a graveyard until the 30th of October). The one strong point that comes out of all the stuff I have read is the celebration of light throughout the year that grew the crops. I probably think to much :)
