So it was pretty cold on this road trip then!

ust outside Basingstoke, there more to this story......
Our little Island does not get that cold, so seeing things frozen a few feet above ground was amazing, yes I have a whole bunch to bore you with over the next few days.
Rather than a close up / macro I liked the contrast.

You're as cold as ice, You're willing to sacrifice our love

Remove the stigma, don't point fingers, someone has put a label on the same person you knew before.

A bud of hope

Fun is so much easier
When within your mean
If you can't afford caviar
Don't be ashamed to eat pork and beef, yeah

I'm not trying to tell you how to do it
I'm only saying put some thought into it

Be what you are, my friend
And live the life

Santa's headlight gone to pot

Another one of those weird light ones. Is was in fact the sun in a gap in the clouds that produced a slightly strange shape. Liked the it fuzzy light framed the chimney pots.
I like the way that the snow indicates a reverse shadow. i.e sunny side of the pots are dark in comparison to the snow covered side.

Candle of awareness

Ok so I have broken my own rule, if Elton John can publish a newspaper. I reckoned a little rule bending was ok to assist in raising awareness.

It's not something that my age group fully understand, pretty sure this applies to many in all age groups. I'll admit that I still do not fully understand the entire issue, but like oil slicks and other man made disasters or self destruction this one is certainly in the top ten of human kinds hit list.

It's time to celebrate the Reindeer

Well it's that time of year, when people go crazy. And spend money they don't have on something people didn't want.
So get ready to salt your meat and put it up for wind drying. Cut off the fat and pack yourself out for the coming months of cold long evenings.

In the meantime celebrate the time of the reindeer, friendship and families.

Don't forget to feed the birds and other animals who can't nip down the corner shop or to the superstore. Give a little something back for the joy they have brought you throughout the year.
