P1260357 - Make a photograph that features the color yellow in some way or another.
Day to day life and muse postings and anything else I would like to share my world with you. General anything that equals forty-two or majorly upsets my state of equilibrium e.g. less than or greater than forty-two.

P1260233 - Temptations, Zoom from 1990. Another Whitfield classic, the words written in 1990, still so in touch with today's world.

The Half Brick
1250946 - A clay brick from the materials it is created is already old. The weathering moss shows that it has been left for a period of time. In addition the marble is also old, but the processing of course renders it as new.
The slight focus issue, is because my eyes are old!
Daily Shoot
Make a photograph of something old. Be sure to show us the character that age can give a subject.

The workshop door (B&W)
P1250684 - Make a photograph featuring strong vertical lines today.
There are some nice verticals lines on the ship-lap joins, but I like the grain and then the knot on this shot.
From under the door version below slightly different PoV, the arty version, I think :)
Problem was this only has one real line, well may be two, but it did say lines
The Murky Stream
P1250112 - The murky stream at the bottom end of the woods, is fed by a number of contributors. Amazingly all the water in the culverts and other streams feed into this, but I am still confused to where the water goes in between, this is about 3-4 inches deep and about four culverts wide.
As the feeders are 6-7 inches deep and there is at least five this should be three times as high.
This I believe then feeds into Wootton creek and there's another story.
Do Brambles have more fun!
P1240980 - They seem to around longer, produce really pretty flowers and sometimes something to eat. Nice concept
Splinter Forest
P1250053 - Nice to get some light after a couple of months and like this and the one used for the daily shoot assignment.
I liked the idea of the splinter reproducing a copy of the tree's behind.

Oh I, can turn the gray sky blue......., originally uploaded by Rusty Marvin (feel free to comment) aka WYSIWYG.
P1250402 - So depressed after such a lovely blue sky day yesterday with sunshine, as usaual at the weekend. So a line from I can't next you another Temptations classic.
So just pointed at the sky with the colour setting on Cool to turn it blue!
Or you could go for the alternative which is still up in the sky Blue Moon You saw me standing alone....don't mind which artist!
Look up today and make a photograph of the sky. Cloudy, clear, or somewhere in between? Tell the story of your sky today.
I have my new Shoots on
P1240953 - Paolo Nutini a breath of fresh air to the music scene; Sunny Side up, Pencil full of lead, classic lyrics.

Fallen - Creating blue
P1250055 - This tree is close to the edge of the woods and didn't quite manage to take the full on wind just before the New Year.
Tell the story of a subject today in a photograph by photographing one specific detail of it.
The Kitchen sink story
P1240563_Cine - Ok, you've got this far and thanks for clicking to view the image.
How did this come about, well I needed to a shot for a daily shoot assignment take a photograph with a different PoV. This was the excuse required to put the camera in the underwater housing and head for the pond and take On the top or underneath www.flickr.com/photos/rustymarvin/5433865381/ because of the effort required to put the camera in the housing I wanted to make use of the occasion, so anything in or underwater or getting covered in water was captured. I apologise in advance for forthcoming images of this vain.
What goes on in the kitchen sink note: no items were damaged or broken during in the making of this series. My hands are lovely and soft though.
The bubbles and suds are actually on the front of the camera housing, not editing or processing except for the main image and that was to crop 16:9 and add the black lines

P1240577 - Other brands are available check with your local retailer don't forget to ask Bill Payer before purchasing.
So playing with water to day, falling out the sky, off the roof, in the pond, on flat surfaces and the kitchen sink and bubbles.
Was attempting to get some washing up action, then realised we had a dishwater and had forgotten how to do it.

P1240409 - Change your point of view. Make a photograph from an unusual point of view today.
For those who look at my stream on a regular basis (I apologies for boring you death), I have recently start taking photographs since Oct 2010. And therefore attempted also sort of PoV, so I was a little stumped when unusual point of view apart from standing on a tall building, I must have covered the main ones off.
So here is something completely different, its not out or fully in its half way in between
The power of water and the ability it has, including refraction of light
As it takes a little time to set up the camera in the underwater housing you may find a few pond, sink and rain shots appearing over the next couple of days.

P1240178 - So here's a bit of Ryde seafront or the promanade. Which when the council had money spent it on railing off half the walkway for the dotto train (long story). It was part of the ressaince of the whole sea front, still continues today.
Revolution, revolution round and round we go where the world's heading nobody knows...Temptations - Ball of Confusion
Daily shoot: Make a photograph that features a leading line through it today. Draw the viewers eye through the image.
Spag Bowl - Chunky style
P1240136 - We all prepare for things every day. Illustrate preparedness in a photograph today.
So here is the finshed result of chunky items to be added. Below is the preparing, just for the fun of it

The New door
P1230488 - Use a window or a door as a frame for your subject today in a photograph.
Been busy hanging a new door on the living room, so there is a door, hinge, door frame and window frame. Reckon that covers it, being framed by a door frame and window.

P1230353 - Thank you for all your kind comments on the previous B&W which in turn has given me confidence to try the setting on my first photography love, no not mushrooms (perhaps later) but the woods in general.
This is a small set of a tree, snapped in it's prime by the recent strong winds, not sad as MN has a reason for this, we will have to wait and find out what that was. The Forestry guys and girls had not marked it for thinning or cropping.
As usual feel free to comment remember it was another poor light day, so long exposure which may cause free hand focus issues was it a good topic to pick or not I am asking my self ?

P1230315 - Walking down the path which has been widened to allow 10 foot wide rabbits to past by the European forestry commission, for no particular reason. Came across an Oak branch with a few withered leaves left on it.
It made me wonder if some clown in an office somewhere didn't realise that tree's are round and his/her planning only allowed for Right angles or straight lines. Don't get me wrong these people do a fantastic job of keeping the woods accessible and safe for those who understand and respect them.
Because of the need to make something only used by locals H&S compatible the woods will spend at least 10 years putting back the forest floor that has been hacked and destroyed by hydraulic oil and diesel fuel.

Super Mamma and she is !
P1220356 - Joking apart the lady who owns it is very nice and it is a great place to eat. When it's says fast food, it means that wholesome meals, no pappy bread filled with some thing that looks like meat, it means cooked chicken, ham, pork and so on and freshly prepared salad and vegetables along with fresh bread and a range of potatoes chips, boiled steam etc. I love super Mamma's
